Beauty & Pinups at IBS New York 2014:

A pin-up girl, also known as a pin-up model, is a model whose mass-produced pictures see wide appeal as popular culture. Pin-ups are intended for informal display, meant to be "pinned-up" on a wall. Pin-up girls may be glamour models, fashion models, or actresses.

The term pin-up may also refer to drawings, paintings, and other illustrations done in emulation of these photos. The term was first attested to in English in 1941; however, the practice is documented back at least to the 1890s.

The pin-up images could be cut out of magazines or newspapers, or be from postcard or chromo-lithographs, and so on. Such photos often appear on calendars, which are meant to be pinned up anyway. Later, posters of pin-up girls were mass-produced and became an instant hit.

Using photos to make a video. http://www.gximage.com/blog/2014/3/using-photos-to-make-a-video

Using photos to make a video sometimes could be boring or interesting. Of course, the content is the key, but doing a traditional slide show is not that interesting than moving photos around the screen with effects and background videos or animation.

Photo Title: “Global Warming”

When I saw this chimney the first tough that comes to my mind was “global warming”. Why?... well, perhaps because I am a little concern about how hostile the planet will be for the next generations; or may be not. Right after taking this photo I ran into my Photoshop and started editing this with the “global warming” in mind. I’m not that good putting titles on my photos, but this one comes across with the title right on the spot.
